IAC’s 2024 Arts and Crafts conference will take place during this October in Philadelphia and in the Brandywine River Valley. Highlights will include visits to Philadelphia institutions such as the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (Frank Furness & George Hewitt, 1876) and to the studios of NC and Andrew Wyeth at the Brandywine Museum of Art, where we will also view the landmark exhibition, “The Crafted World of Wharton Esherick.” These visits are complemented by the extraordinary opportunity to visit the Wharton Esherick Museum where we will see his home, studio, and work.
