All attending Maintaining Purpose, IAC’s 13th Annual Gold + Diamond Conference, were riveted by John Richmond and Toby Pomeroy’s presentation on mercury-free processing of gold. They discussed GOLDROP, an innovative system using elutriation to separate gold from sediment without employing mercury. GIA has approved grant-funded testing of GOLDROP.
